Nigerian Twitter is full of anger on Democracy Day and the reason is their president.
Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s Democracy Day speech, which also marks his one year in office on Sunday, May 29, 2016, Nigerians took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the speech, his performance in office for the last one year, and how their lives under the new president has been.
Unsurprisingly, majority of the comments appraise Buhari’s presidency poorly. See below some of the top tweets with the hashtag, #PMBWasted365Days which has been trending at the number 1 spot for the past 7 hours.
