Stella Oduah, a former aviation minister and senator representing Anambra North Senatorial district lost her 28-year-old son, Maxwell Chinedu Etoromi on Friday, August 26, 2016.

A source confirmed to The Trent that Etoromi, who was nicknamed Boa, died in a Turkish Hospital in Abuja after he received a wrong prescription following a tooth surgery.

“He was nicknamed Boa, after the boa constrictor, because of his huge size,” the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the matter, said.

Etoromi graduated from Guildford College in the United Kingdom before returning to Abuja.

Senator Oduah has confirmed the passing of her son.

A fellow senator, Uche Ekwunife from Anambra State also confirmed the news.

“It is very unfortunate. It has shown that death and life belong to God and it is only Him who controls our life. It is a trying moment for her and all of us. I know how it feels as a mother. It is only God who can console her,” Ekwunife said.
