Wife of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari, is heading to Brussels, Belgium where she will speak on Women’s Role in Global Security.
Mrs Buhari made this known on her instagram page on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
“Heading to Brussels to attend a forum where I will be giving the opening remark on “Women’s Role in Global Security,” she posted.
Mrs. Buhari looked dazzling in a bright striped colored duck-dress which has been identified by Signal as a Salvatore Ferragamo Cape which sales online for $2,600 (N1.2 million at parallel market rate).
Aisha Buhari made headlines last week when she granted an interview to BBC Hausa service criticising her husband’s government. She accused an unnamed cabal of people who did not share her husband’s beliefs of hijacking his government and derailing the country.
President Muhammadu Buhari, who was in Germany when the interview was aired last Friday, responded to questions from the press by mocking the first lady and saying that she belongs in “his kitchen, his living room, and the other room“.
