Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech now holds the record for the most clean sheets kept by an English Premier League goalkeeper.
The Czech international beat David James’ 169 clean sheets by recording his 170th clean sheet in 352 premier league appearances when Arsenal defeated Bournemouth on Monday, December 28, 2015.
The former Chelsea goalkeeper’s record is so impressive as it took David James 572 matches before he could manage 169 shutouts as against Cech’s 170 shutouts in 352 games.
