The Rock, Nikki Minaj, Tim Cook: Celebrities React To Ariana Grande Concert Attack [TWEETS]

Twenty-two people were killed and around 52 injured when a suicide bomber set off an explosion at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, United Kingdom on Monday, May 22, 2017.

Many celebrities from the entertainment industry and business leaders have condemned the attack, which the UK authorities have designated as terrorist attack.

Actor Dwayne Johnson, Nikki Minaj, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Apple CEO Tim Cook, among others took to Twitter to convey their sadness over the incident.

Ariana Grande took to Twitter to express her grief at the terrorist attack in a “broken” post that has elicited close to 2 million reactions.

“Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words,” she wrote hours after the  shocking incident.

Police said the explosion took place outside the arena, which is near the Manchester Victoria transit station, as the concert ended at about 10:35 p.m. local time (5:35 p.m. ET), catching people as they exited.
