A man identified as Akanbi Lawal, has been arrested by officials of the Lagos State Police Command for chaining his 35-year-old son, Yusuf Lawal and hiding him in their home for two months at the Dopemu area of Lagos State.
According to reports, the victim was declared missing until his friend, Tayo Olukoju discovered him in the room where he was hidden by his father.
His hands were already decaying from the injury he sustained from the chains his father bound him with.
Mr. Lawal told the police that he took the decision following his son’s shameful and disgraceful attitude.
Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Sp Dolapo Badmos said the victim has been taken to General hospital where he’s receiving treatment, adding that Mr Lawal would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
